It's back.... And this year we look forward to having another great time!  You asked for it? You got it. The Hidden Hollow weekend Star Party at Warren Rupp Observatory will be back again this year from August 17-19th, 2012! Pre-Registration is now open! We prefer that you pre-register so we can plan on how many people we need to accomodate. Don't worry, though... We can still take you at the gate! If at all possible, please print off a registration form and fill it out before you arrive. Cash and checks are acceptable, but (sorry) we aren't equipped to deal with credit cards. See you there!! If you aren't familiar with Hidden Hollow, the cost is $40 per person or $60 for immediate family. Included in this price is primitive camping or your choice of lodging in the bunkhouses or a cabin. Please remember that cabins are also primitive - but it's a roof over your head and a bunk under your back! As always, hot showers and flushing restrooms are available as well as plenty of indoor shelter. No matter what the weather is, we always have a great time! Please be kind and register as soon as possible. We can only keep it open until we have reached our maximum capacity of 300 visitors. Registration will close at that time or by August 10. Forms received after that time will still be admitted, just as visitors at the gate, but there will be no guarantee of free workshop materials. Remember, there's food, folks, fun and more astronomy in one place than you've ever seen! If you have a scout troop, an astronomy club or an organization that would like to attend, we can sure make arrangements for you on one or more days. If you would also like to attend for just one day, we can also make special arrangements. Right now I am in the process of building up the best possible information on the site, so please use the contact tab on the left if you need to make special arrangements for groups or single day rates and I'll help you out until the site is completed (and don't panic if the registration form may be outdated or muffed up.
